With hearts full of happiness and excitement for this young and extremely talented artist, we're happy to present you Calida Ray's gorgeous double-LP, There Might Be Light Above The Surface.

Drawing from his jazz roots while embracing the richness of soul, gospel, and r&b, the album unfolds within a dreamy ambient landscape. These are songs that ache and uplift in equal measure as the album unfolds as a deeply personal journey in search of light, moving through uncertainty, hope, love, and fear while balancing between darkness and illumination. Part one reveals the brighter, more energetic side of the project, while part two descends into darker, deeper, and more experimental territory.

The album will roll out through the summer and fall of 2026. We expect shipping to begin in mid-October.
